Meatloaf

We tried making meatloaf at home last thanksgiving and all of us loved it. Amma made sandwiches with the leftover meatloaf the next day and it tasted great.

Ingredients:

2 pounds of ground beef
1/2 cup onion finely chopped
2 tsp ground garlic
1/2 cup carrot finely chopped
1/2 cup celery finely chopped
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tbsp black pepper

Method:

1.Preheat the oven to 350 degree.
2.Mix together all the ingredients and transfer to a meatloaf pan. Shape the meatloaf.
3.Paint some tomato ketchup mixed with brown sugar and spices of your choice on the top of the meatloaf.(optional)
3.Cook in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
